Masjid E Ashrafia, the only mosque in Incheon, currently operates from a rented shopfront, modest in both appearance and facilities. Despite its limitations, it serves as a vital hub for the local Muslim community, including students from Inha University, providing a space for prayers and Islamic studies.

However, the mosque's capacity is limited to just 30-50 people, which is insufficient for Friday and Eid prayers, as well as Muslim gatherings, especially during Ramadan. The extended prayer area is in such poor condition that it suffers from severe leaks, forcing worshippers to pray in turns or on a cold floor covered with plastic!

$127,000 needed by the end of December 2024

Despite all the limitations and inadequate facilities, this mosque bears a heavy monthly rental cost of approximately 2 million won. The high rental price is simply not worth it given the poor condition of the current building.
