But despite the hardships, they still strive to memorise the Quran. They are a generation that cherishes Allah’s words.

Having witnessed their plight and their love for the Quran firsthand, we’ve distributed 1800 Quran copies to these students and we’re aiming to give 10,000 more. But we need your help.

For students in Malawi, their own copy of the Quran is a treasure. With the floor as their desk, and the sky as their ceiling, they are preserving through their quest to learn the Quran under the scorching heat of the sun.

"I always pray that I get a new Quran," said a student. When asked if studying without doors disturbed him, he replied, “To be honest, it bothers us a lot, but we preserve because we do not have any choice.”

About the Organization

MyFundAction is a non-profit organization run by Youth. We have 2000 committed members. 90% of our members and the volunteers consist of youth. We aim to be the best platform for developing entrepreneurship and leadership among the youth. We are currently operating globally in five different countries, including our headquarters in Malaysia and branches in New Zealand, Egypt, Indonesia, the African continent, and Japan. We focus on youth development in 4 segments including food, education, entrepreneurship, and health.
